Not really... How many channels does it have, I was thinking about 16.... will see what the others say...
I'm getting ready to come up.. how much time would they like before I do come up.
I have 2 of those radios rigged up as a repeater on .285 and 06 both. I built it for Beattie, put a optical ic in them for cor. Would work for an emergency backup.

Are you looking for a radio that will operate on VHF ?

I have quite a few of Kenwwod TK-705 that are self programable, that will go into 2 meters,25 watt.

Farren... No, even the digipeater could not be "connected"at BRK, you just said c k0byk v brk.... and it repeated. On my home rig, if you can operate, all you need is "c k0byk".

Dennis ... P.S. if you want to try it out, please call me at 785 562 5674 and we can coordinate what goes on.... also the tnc has some issues and I might have to replace the 2032 batt. I am trying to charge it up now and leaving it all on to get the "cobwebs" out. I just was thinking, maybe you need to "c k0byk1"... ?

    Dennis:

are you running a BBS that can be connected to, or just a digipeater on .050?
