[MCARC] Club simplex frequency?

Lost to the mists of time (at least lost in my memory) is the club 2
meter simplex frequency we used to use. I recall that it was in the
simplex range of the 147 MHz portion of the band. As I tune through
there now I have some sort of locally generated carriers on all of the
designated simplex frequencies in that portion of the band save for
147.435 MHz (too many electronic devices around here).

The same seems true for the mid portion of the band including 146.520
but I can squelch it out for the most part. Of the frequencies in this
segment, 146.445 and 146.460 are the most quiet for me. For grins I
will be scanning these simplex frequencies.

Just some thoughts on picking a watering hole that we could meet on.

73, Nate
