[MarinTeams] CERT Radio On-Air Practice tonight (Monday)

Tonight (Monday) we will be exercising our various means of connectivity as
part of the CERT Radio program.  

Please join us 7:00-7:30 PM on the air tonight, starting on Channel 5
(Central Marin Repeater, 146.775 (-) PL 127.3).  We will also make calls on
the Mill Valley Repeater, 146.775 (-) PL110.9, and on Channel 3 (145.640
simplex).   Our 448.300 simplex (no PL) cross band channel is available to
stations in So. Marin (Corte Madera, south) which links into the Central
Marin Repeater.

Novato Stations:  Please set your radios to 438.350 simplex to form a Novato
simplex net at 6:45PM.  Then, plan on using 438.350 simplex to access the
cross-band repeater for the CERT Radio net at 7:00.  We'll also be making
calls on Channel 3 after 7:00PM, but you'll hear more activity on 438.350.

This Thursday we will be conducting our ongoing CERT Radio Communication
Classes.  Whether for the first time, or as a refresher, please take the
time to join us.  Trinity Community Church, San Rafael, 7:00PM-9:00PM.

Class 1 - Introduction and propagation

Class 2 - Radio Configuration

= > Class 3 - Net Control Procedures, Message Handling and general review. 

The series begins again with Class 1 next Thursday.
