We really need a newsletter, and really need your help! Briefly, several
projects are under way to increase our radio coverage. I am sure you know
that we received a grant from the County to help build up our repeaters. As
it turns out, even though the grant was for a substantial amount, the costs
for a solar installation in West Marin have left us still short. Volunteers
have stepped up to the plate to contribute material to reduce costs, but
batteries are very expensive, and we find we are $250 from putting together
the absolute minimum system but are still $3000 away from what we really
need in West Marin. We are a 501(c)3 tax-deductible organization who really
needs your help.

We couldn't have done it without you! As we have said many times before,
volunteers are our core that makes the Hamilton Wireless Association run so
smoothly and efficiently. Our 'non-event' rain storm last week was proof
what a passionate, dedicated group can do. We are truly neighbors in
neighborhoods. Thank you all so much for the time and effort you put into
making our activities a success, and please consider helping us improve our
radio coverage.

We can accept donations on our K6BW website (http://www.k6bw.org) or if you
prefer, our mailing address is:

Thank you.
