From the back of tam valley, was not able to get the repeater to key up. Using an FT2900R and a mobile antenna, up to 75W Radio output.
Was able to hear a conversation, but only one side of it, Possibly due to one person being on the MV repeater and the other person being on the San Anselmo repeater.
By the way, the Mill Valley radio club appears to have a different channel index than this group:
http://w6sg.net/new_repeaters.HTM
Ch. 1 146.700- pl 203.5 Big Rock Ridge
Ch. 2 146.700- pl 179.9 Mt. Tam
Ch. 3 146.700- pl 167.9 Barnabe
Ch. 4 147.330+ pl 179.9 Mt. Tam stand alone repeater
Ch. 5 147.330+ pl 173.8 San Pedro Ridge Backup repeater
Given that the ranges overlap substantially, perhaps it would make sense to work with the "Marin Amateur Radio Society" club and normalize station settings.
Is there a corresponding list of frequencies for marinteams that I should be referring to? I didn't see anything on
http://www.qsl.net/k6bw/
or
http://www.smfd.org/services/cert
Sorry if it's there and I just didn't see it.
Regards,
