Have you heard of ICS? It is an organizational model that can help you to
plan picnics, weddings, or, in that unhappy moment, even manage disasters.
A class on the Incident Command System (ICS) will be held at the Hamilton
Wireless Clubhouse, Building 549, Hamilton Field beginning at 9:00am on
October 13th.
The material will be presented by Mike Angeli. FEMA classes ICS-100,
ICS-200 and ICS-700 will be covered. No tests or certificates will be
conducted or issued during the class, but information will be available
regarding FEMA certification via the Internet.
If you can't make the class, and are an expert at navigating websites, you
can also take these courses on-line. Look first at:
http://virtualcampus.fema.gov/netstorage/defaultmsg.htm. Ignore the message
that the training is temporarily unavailable. Read the tutorial, then sign
up using the second URL.
Hope to see you October 13th. Please let us know if you wish to attend.
There is no charge for the class.
