Dear DART,
Actually, you don't have to Wait!

Steve Rutowski, firefighter/DART instructor is one of the instructors in
this program organized with an emphasis on disaster medicine by former SRFD
Division Chief Brian Waterbury who now works for the County Office of
Emergency Services. Marin County Medical Reserve Corps RSVP:
b.waterbury at co.marin.ca.us

The first Summit of Neighborhood DART Leaders was held Saturday. We focused
on What Do You Need? What Do You Have That Works? What's Next? And we did
an intriguing table top disaster drill!

Next DART classes start 7/11 for 8 sessions. You can make up the ones you
missed and audit the others. Bring your gear and binder when you show up.

The Fall DART classes start on Tuesday nights: September 4.

Get Ready, a two hour program for personal preparedness is coming to San
Rafael...standby.

I suggest you set a deadline for checking in with others you trained with to
go over the supplies you have gathered. Did you get a big trash can on
wheels? Did you use group buying power for certain things? Are you ready
to have me come present DART to your neighbors? Club? Church? Work?
Service group?

Remember: Size up & Stay Safe!
