[MAMS] Hepburn troop forecast

This is the second time in a week I have heard someone say they heard the
N9SS 2 meter beacon, W9ZIH said he heard it one evening last week. It is
listed as 50 mW into a Big Wheel at 30 feet. I know I have never heard it, I
keep forgetting to ask any of the locals in Peoria if it was really on or
not. The list I have also shows N9SS beacons on 432.299 (50 mW to a 2 meter
Big Wheel at 30 feet), 1296.299 (50 mW to a 2 meter Big Wheel).

I was wondering about the 144.135 frequency but since that is what I saw in
an earlier e-mail, I gave a shout there. I also shouted on 144.200 and
144.260. I didn't hear any answers.
:-(

I don't know how others found the conditions this morning, but I didn't
notice anything spectacular. The Hepburn forecast for Sunday at 1200Z is
unstable but possible enhancement in a band from my area to the west and
southwest. Maybe that will really materialize. Hard to say now.

The N9SS beacon on 144.275 is an odd little beacon. When I first heard it, I
thought it was someone tuning up. It's located in Peoria (EN50es). It's a
very low power beacon but I was hearing it well this morning in EN60af.
