[MAMS] 24/47 GHz

I just got the final LO multiplier based on the W1GHZ "10 GHz personal
beacon" circuit tuned up. I am getting +10 dBm out of it at 11880 MHz.
This is actually a little more than I need for this application, as
the SDH transceivers are supposed to like 6 to 8 dBm of LO at 12 GHz.
So I'm happy with that.

If I needed much more, I'd probably add on another amp after the
output of the LO using something like an MGF1302. You're supposed to
be able to get 17 or 18 dBm out of one of them at 12 GHz if you tune
them carefully. But I understand it's easy to let the smoke out, too.
And the last time I went into the local "smoke shop" asking them if
they had any GaAs smoke for sale, they gave me really weird looks.
:-)

Now I can start putting things together in a box and hope it all works
when it's together.
