[MAMS] Fw: WW8M W9ZIH skeds results

Ran with WW8M and W9ZIH Thursday
afternoon. 2M, 3456 and 10 GHz with Ron. From AJ Scenic
overlook. EN74at. Empire Michigan. Nice day. Partly sunny,
calm, 45 give or take. 5-7 PM Eastern. Around the sun, could see a
faint ice rainbow circle around it. Looking at Lake
Michigan, could see a layer of clouds, heavy thick haze,
clouds about 200-300 ft above the Lake. Layer stood out.
Clear above it. Signals on 2M, were not terribly strong. 2M
signals were up and down. With no wind. 
 
3456. No luck with Don. Too many 1,700+ ft hills in the
way. AJ is about 1,100 ft ASL. Much better path with W9ZIH.

Don tried with Ron. No luck. On 3456 Ron and I heard each other,
across Lake Michigan very weakly a couple of times over an
hour and a half. 250 miles or something. Signal detection
level. Conditions, were not good, even on 2M. This time
of the year, Lake Michigan, seems not to offer very good
propagation conditions. Also, similar last month MAD, and last year.
Compared with summer, or fall. Or even winter. Tried 10 GHz
with Ron. Nothing heard. Usually would be s3 or s4. 
  
Talked with Ron about 24 GHz, and progress he is making.
Hopefully this summer give things a try. 
 
Did not get on for the 222 sprint. Last minute decision.
Time to leave here. 4 inches of snow, and it was comming
down at about an inch an hour. Next time. Should be on for
the 432 sprint. SBMS contest, if conditions were even sort 
of, would be willing to drive to AJ.
