Nice audio clip Jay - I was late to the party listening to Christmas music, but thankfully Id set up both the L1 Beverage and omni for 17,2. but not clicked Audiocity on

Overall the signal path wasnt that hot for mid-winter - SAQ on the Beverage sat around -90 to -95dbm with large amount of qrn which is rare for this path - the L1 beam 020degT and reciprocal over the N Pole, meanwhile my Omni above the lake was being blasted with 60mph gusts and precip; powerline arcing was happening and the front end going into saturation can be seen Yes, the early tune up start around 0741Z was fun to watch - just the blasted SMPSU intermittently from my local telco spoiling the party at times. Signals from over the pole in Eu were stronger a few hours earlier. Best regards to all from here in Alaska to one and all. Laurence KL7L

Subject: [Lowfer] SAQ frequency stability

SAQ's 10/24/23 transmission was much more unstable than normal. Today's
transmission was much better but not quite up to normal stability. Instability
when first keying up during the test and tune and also at shutdown (if the key
is held down when de-energizing the alternator) is normal. Other than that
it's usually remarkably stable.
