Thanks for the info on OP32RX. Looks like v1.8.7 is current. What is lowest
detection level
you've seen with that?
Roger on the relearn of Spectrum Lab / opds2h6.exe ... same here! Plus my upload stuff all changed since I've
switched web hosting services a few months back. The first FFT output file
comes 35 minutes after start ... and then every 10 minutes ... the way things
are configured here. 35 minutes is a long time to wait to see if
you've screwed up something. Not as bad as Ebnaut on VLF where the first FFT file takes 6 - 8 hours! Been burned a couple times with that.

Subject: Re: [Lowfer] VO1NA OP32
Jay, I like the Op32Rx v1.8.7 software. Perhaps a newer version exists
but I haven't
looked. I do sometimes run Opera v1.6.5 but dislike it for
the reasons you mentioned. Also, it falses more often and
there's no way
for you to remove bogus call signs from the deep search list. Nor is
there a way to specify an arbitrary operating frequency, hence my lowfer
shows up as if it's
sending on about 137.5 kHz rather than 185.185 kHz.
After I saw your note I had to relearn how to run Spectrum Lab with
opds2h6.exe. Finally got it going, but too late for VO1NA decodes. The
very precise FFT takes a LONG time to acquire and I had things set up
with a number of things that needed changed for 137.477 kHz. By about
the third try I think I had caught all of them. Then I needed to start
all over for SIW on 185.185 kHz, hi.
