I tried it on AM broadcast and sent Gene the info on it.
It worked so well and was easy to build and install. I laid it out in the back yard in between my house and the edge of the cliff (we live on a mountain in middle TN).
During the day I'm getting the usual WSM in Nashville about an hour north but also WSB in Atlanta (about three hours southeast of me) like a local. The receiver is one of my HP Selective Microvoltmeters.
Then at night the band is full and I managed a 2.5kW AM in the graveyard part of band (in 1400's) an hour south of Atlanta. Pulled it right out of the noise.
