Hi Mitch,

It’s good to hear from you!  My wife has continued working thru the “event”, but I have
pretty much stayed at home, aside for necessary trips to town for groceries and such.
I’m glad I’ve got ham radio to keep me occupied.

I got a replacement PC and EAR is now back on the air, but I’m having issues with
two other programs I want to run in it.  Both are having trouble with the sound card,
which is the type that’s on the motherboard.  Nothing gets in via the line-in jack, as
well as nothing is getting out of the speaker jack.  So at the moment I can’t use the
Navtex program YaND nor the SDR software HDSDR.

If I can’t get it sorted out, I might just take you up on your offer of the Win7 Dell.
I only get to London about once a year to visit my friend Glenn, VE3CGU, who
is a retired OPP dispatcher.  Perhaps we could meet in Exeter?  I’ll let you know.
