It is one of those special nights on LF.

I put a new exciter on this afternoon and was getting some early
WSPR reports from across the Atlantic. During a failed QSO attempt
with G0MRF, the class D amp blew my last set of FETs. I was
discouraged but put the small class E amp back in so I could keep
playing with the new exciter.

Then I saw 2E0ILY calling CQ on JT9-1. I answered, not expecting to
be heard. Surprise! We had an easy QSO with just one repeat sequence
required! Thank you Chris!

Now WSPR reports from Europe are getting even better. What else will
this night bring?
