 Hi John:

Good news... Any increase in current at the antenna will make a difference for sure.
I am looking forward to looking again as I have by chance fumbled onto an antenna
setup that has " Drastically " improved my LF reception. I have been trying it for a
couple of nights on 2200meters - and - daytime reception is there now !! Haven't had
that before... I am receiving WH2XND in Arizona ( 1649 miles ) throughout the day now.
I plan to run the gammot of lowFERs now and see the difference in the days ahead.

73 for now:

I added 10 40foot ground plane wires this weekend, which after re-tuning
for resonance, increased the current to the final by 12ma. Before the
ground plane wires, I only had a ground rod at the base of the antenna.
This unfortunately puts me in-between two taps for impedance matching. I
chose the closest resistance, which was a little higher than 50, which put
the output to the final at .75W with a fully charged battery.
