Paul, et al.:

The list, as I understand it, was meant to be a tool, not some recognition of LF "stature."

Seems to me that, because most or all of us are also communicating via various social media, ANYONE capable of and desiring to make a 2200m QSO -- whether on Paul's list or not -- can arrange for the attempts here or through related sites without undue strain.  Let's not make too big a deal out of this.
