Indeed it is.

My intent was to create a resource for those seeking QSOs... a means
of identifying others who are both capable of making QSOs and
interested in doing so (or at least willing to give due
consideration to trying a QSO upon request). At the same time I felt
including such statistics as best DX and kilometers per watt might
serve as encouragement for those who aspire to make a QSO but have
not yet done so.

I already see that happening here.

As I said the other day, I am certainly willing to include those who
claim QSO capability and interest. I am trying to be fair. My
policies regarding the list and inclusion therein are open to debate
and review. I am human and make mistakes. It was never my intent to
be a dictator regarding policy but I did want the list to be a
valuable resource to those seeking QSOs - eg. not a beacon list.

Perhaps I made an error when I decided to include people only if
they gave direct consent to being included? Maybe I should have just
kept my ear to the ground and quietly put anyone on the list
(without contact info) when I became aware that they had made a QSO?
I've never been very comfortable doing things like that. I had hoped
those who have made QSOs on this fascinating and challenging band
would embrace this and want to be included.

Honestly at this point I am already starting to feel that this
effort is not embraced by the community at large.

Let me conclude by saying I for one am VERY interested in making
QSOs, including those where considerable effort might be expended in
the attempt. I wish there were a resource to help me find QSO
partners. That was part of my motivation with the list.
