[Lowfer] IDing

I don’t know about some of the newer digital modes you guys are using, but with modes like QRSS or FSK wouldn’t it be possible to either:

 - insert your CW Id quickly between elements. Say you are key down for 10 minutes for part of a digital mode transmission, then during the key up moments you could insert your CW ID quickly during the silence. Would not impact the digital comm.

-or-

 - assuming for a moment you are using some mode that requires key down for longer than 10 minutes, couldn’t you interrupt that key down for the 5 seconds it takes to send a CW ID, then go right back to key down? I would not think that quickly inserted ID would affect the slower mode.

??

Or is this all dumb? Please let me know if it is. It won’t “hurt my feelings”.

If and when there is I often turn it up a bit more hoping I may catch a CW ID! Sometimes I do on 2200m. I can't say that I ever heard a Lowfer CW ID.
