[Lowfer] Cleaning a large air variable

Hello Andy,

The pitting corrosion is probably not recoverable. Loose corrosion can 
be removed with a light brushing.

My concern would be to not bend or break off any plates from the rotor 
or stator.

For mine that were just dusty and dirty, I put them in the dishwasher 
for a cycle.

After, I lubricated the moving bearings.
