Jay---Andy;
Jay, I followed the guidelines that Bill Ashlock wrote about and used on
his installations. I used Quad shield RG-6 for a total length of 200Ft.
I measured and marked the 4 corners so the loop is a nice 50Ft square.
It is 8 to 10 Ft off the ground. The shield is being used as the antenna
conductor, powered by Bill's original PA.
I run the wire N-S for this test because the bow and arrow shot to get
the support rope over the trees was easier. I have an E-W set of trees
I could use, but the arrows will be landing in thick woods. I had the
same understanding as Andy, that with the loop wire running N-S the
signal would beam E-W. Am I wrong on that?
Andy, for your question, no graphics for now, I am transmitting just
"WM" in FSKCW-30.
