Haven't had any luck with the CW version in the daytime at all. About this
time last night, I did manage to see the Morse keyed carrier, and could hear
just enough under the crackles and pops to confirm that's what it was. When
I checked back at 475.000 a couple of hours later, it was gone.
This evening, conditions were a little better (attached). At this speed,
with a 30 second break between repeats, my ears were unable to "sync up"
until the VVV's, so it took some time to get the first part of the message.
Finally got solid copy all the way through at 1724 CST/ 2324 UTC!
At that same time, I noticed that the fuzz at 475.010 looked an awfully lot
like WSPR-2, both in appearance and timing, so I cranked up the software to
watch. No luck with that so far, but I'll keep looking a while longer. Who
would be that far out of the subband?
