Greetings all:

I was pleased with the overall results from last night here.. Despite the flame-thrower MSK
signal on 135.9 KHz, along with +20 dB powerline buzz ( the NB really helps with that ),
the static crashes were very minimal.. By morning when I checked; the colder temps
possibly caused something to contract, and the big buzz is gone for the moment..
My resting S meter reading is S-8 which is quiet for me... My noise that I hear continuously
is a carrier that sounds like it is sending a " pulse " every 9 seconds, and the " pulse "
is 1/2 second long ( roughly ) .. Plus, I have my usual " growlies " that shift around in
frequency..

WSPR Spot count for the night here"

WG2XXM - 222

WH2XND - 120

WH2XRR - 38 , as is normal with weak signals, I saw several traces with no decode..

VE7BDQ, and WE2XPQ - I hoped for, but no joy...

It took all the filtering, and noise reduction I had, to start decoding XRR.. Once the antenna
was peaked for 136 KHz, I put the radio in 2.4 KHz BW.. I shifted the radio's " IF " almost
fully to the ( + ) side.. this eliminated the carrier of the MSK station.. I used the radio's
NOTCH filter to get rid of as much of the MSK sideband audio as possible..
The Noise Blanker dropped the powerline buzz from + 20 down to S-9, and flickering up
to +5.. I had a very strong offending carrier at 1200 Hz audio.. I use Spectran to feed audio
into WSJT-X BETA.. With Spectran I used the Band Reject filter to get rid of the 1200 Hz tone..
I also use the Denoiser filter to help smooth things out a bit more.. sometimes, it seems to
help, and sometimes not..

It was fun to have more signal on 2200 meter WSPR to try for.. 73 all, and Good DX :
