Mike, Garry & All:  On the light side and my visual gain cranked up, but definitely WM-like signal above SIW....

A bag of 47uF 16V tantalums just arrived in the mail from ebay, wish I had the time to install a few of them on the LF converter tonite....maybe over the weekend....

I should test them anyway...want to give that active capacitor filter concept a try......
