Thanks for the two suggestions,
I can turn the acg off on the Kenwood. I normally have it off when using
Argo. (sometimes I forget)
I don't know what "ALC" capabilities the computers sound card has. I
don't think I remember reading anything about that kind of option on the
machines. This point I need to investigate, it should be easy enough to
test.
