Garry:
The WSPR program surely doesn¹t try to upload the entire ALL_WSPR.txt file
each time it updates, does it (as opposed to just new spots)? I am cursed
with very slow DSL service that I am compounding with a wireless link that
is ³distance-challenged². I¹m wondering if my instance of WSPR is
spending all its time doing something besides decoding, or perhaps I am
still uploading a big file when the next occurrence comes along, causing
crashes or freezes. I¹m definitely going to look into this when I return
and I apologize to the community if I am contributing to server overload
until I can get this cleaned up and perform a routine archive like you
describe.
Regarding server overloadsince I am monitoring the results remotely, I do
check the database once or twice a day. It seems that about half the time
the database page will not even load. Same for the map page.
