[Lowfer] WSPR comparison at 474.2 kHz

John et al,

I've noticed no problems here with wspr-x other than uploading spots. So
I do that manually via http://wsprnet.org/olddb. Now that I know the
falsing magnitude, especially for wspr2.0, I should edit my ALL_WSPR.TXT
files before doing so to clean them up.

I miss wspr-15 on 136 kHz from Europe and BC. Those currently active
from the US are generally strong enough that wspr-2 is adequate. But -15
allowed for decodes here last year while wspr-2 didn't decode anything
from Europe (VE7s did decode on occasion). There was also an effort to
dig deeper into opera SNR detection levels with so-called deep-search
code. Opera eventually added similar code and perhaps even does as well
now. But even that doesn't compete with Wolf. Too bad not enough
listeners took the effort to calibrate their reception and I guess not
enough senders wanted to pursue linear amps.
