Oops.  After I proofread and edit my posts, sometimes I don't notice right 
away that things got dropped which make them read very differently from 
intended.  My mention of "this kit" was actually a reference to the U3s, 
which was unclear because I had inadvertently dropped a sentence about 
Dave's posts on the Mesage Board concerning his own new beacon, and another 
partial sentence that transitioned into Hans' mention of the newer kit. 
Sorry for the confusion.
