J.B., I've been monitoring 518 kHz Navtex too with another receive 
setup. The 3 U.S. west coast stations have been decoding well of late 
but nothing yet from Greenland, BC, or AK. Bermuda has been absent too 
recently, no doubt due to the hurricane. That's also probably why 
station R in Puerto Rico was sending a seemingly endless stream of 
messages a few days ago.
