Gary (& All) : Interesting capture over the land path for you versus what
the liquid electroylte path has been offering the coastal stations lately
on both sides of the pond. I have had similar results as you on other
evenings.

Appears as the coastal stations readily benefit from the ground wave + sky
wave combination effect....

RX attempts on DK7FC QRSS have been nil last week or so on 136.172......

I did not attempt any 136~137 captures overnite for 10/5/14, but the evening
prior of 10/4/14 a QRSS120 long capture was made on VO1NA

Slight negative slope apparant at 120 rate as my OCXO in the converter and
TCXO in the FT-817 are not GPS disiplined.....

Looks like the "RN" you captured is a "GN" as the light trace may be a
dash......

Changing LF subjects, I lucked out on a low price ebay bid on a DU-1
Bendix LF/MF RDF loop circa 1942.

Arrived at my doostep on Fri.....

Basic phase combiner unit for cardio pattern with two 12SK7s in
three bands, 200~400 , 400~800, and 800~1600 kHz.

PDF manual is available online if one searches DU-1 Bendix Loop.

Originally intended Navy aero use at altitude along with a trailing
wire as the sense antenna, hence the spring-loaded ARC-5-ish "Ant"

connector on upper left hand corner of the unit..

So I spent available time on Sat scrounging my radio parts stash for
a power supply for it....

Parts are mounted but I still need to do the point-to-point wiring,
perhaps next weekend......

Something to add to my LF boat anchor collection....~:)
