Hi J.B.

Just for the sake of chiming in on the subject.. The NEWVER.EXE part looks like an
auto updater for that program.. You can turn it off by using MSCONFIG in the " Run "
box..Once there, click the " Startup " tab, and find that command line and Un-Check it..
Re-Boot, and tell windows not to show the little window again that pops up after boot..
Pretty simple process..

I recommend you to download Glary Utilities - Free version and use it to do a good
clean up of your machine..It is an excellent program that I have used for years with
great success.. As with any new program, to get the most out of it, you will need to
" configure it " for what you want it to do for you, which is basically checking the boxes
that you want it to clean, or repair.. This is a set it, and forget it deal, once you do, then
this is what it will do each time you use it..

As has already been stated, it is most likely that the executable will rise up again, and
try to do what it is intended to do.. The good thing about turning it off with MSCONFIG,
is that if it really is a needed executable, you can just as easily turn it back on..
If you delete it from the registry, It's Gone !! Forever !!

Good luck:

Andy - XR
