Pat:
Very stable signal - and that is about the power range I have been running - usually 200-250 watts. It is the G0MRF rig - and I have pushed it to 400 watts - but had to add an mini-fan on the "tank" coil. I'm using a 340 ft loop - top at about 60 feet. So power and antenna stays constant - and I think it provides a reasonably stable signal for propagation and seasonal variations to be checked by observers.
Good luck with the 500 watts - and will look forward to listening for you later.
