each one seems to be affixed in a different fashion...some more challenging 
than others. I generally end up resorting to a hacksaw to cut through as 
much of the crud as possible and then start to break up the gunk with a 
screwdriver or chisel ...eventually enough will come loose that you can 
start pulling the ferrite free...great fun. Grab them while you can as they 
seem to be fast disappearing.
