Greetings List, Andy,

Also have a few Def. Yokes around and have been halted on removing them. How to do that, remove the C shaped ferrite from the coil. So far I've only got the wire clamp off. -- peter

Greetings all: Having just purchased my first active mini whip antenna, and hoping to
get it constructed soon; my question arises about using what I have " On Hand " to wind
common mode chokes for the coax run.. Will the ferrite material in a CRT deflection yoke
perform well in that capacity ?? I have quite a few old CRT monitors on hand to " gut out ",
and scavenge parts from.. One thing for sure, a person can run quite a few turns of coax
thru a yoke ferrite core... Thanks for any comments on the matter..
