[Lowfer] Daytime LowFERs in SE Kansas

"The CommRadio CR-1a test continues."  With upconversion, I should 
emphasize!

It's useless for LowFERs barefoot.  It's much better at 630 meters, though 
the digital background noise is still not as good as upconverting the band 
to HF.  The CR-1a is remarkably stable for its size and price, so it's a 
good candidate for upconversion.

Only downside: my upconverter requires 24 volts, presently requires my 
full-time attention to furnish, so it is not currently practical for me to 
listen at night.  Too bad, because it sounds as if conditions were good 
tonight
