[Lowfer] Trying QRSS30 on 160 tonite

I think that spreading is normal when you have sky waves present.  The
moving layers of the ionosphere that are reflecting the signal will cause
the path length to change and thus add doppler shift.

I've was trying to use Spectrum Lab to detect the recently activated 25MHz
carrier from WWV last night and this spreading prevents going with very
narrow signal processing.   This spreading is pretty extreme at 25 MHz with
the signal spreading out over a +-1Hz range although the majority of the
signal seems to be within a .2 Hz range.

Things looks so much more predictable with ground waves!
