Do you see signals on the waterfall? If not you wont get decodes. I would think it would be very difficult to "find" the narrow qrss waterhole without some type of readout or a pilot signal to set the tuning. If the radio is showing signals on the waterfall, are they straight. If not the receiver is not stable and decodes may be difficult.
