Garry, and all:

That is a nicely noticable difference between the probe, and the loop..
Appears that with the loop, you can; " Dig-em outta the dirt " ..

 This morning was relatively quiet,
despite local rain and both MP and EAR were received
reasonably well, via both an e-probe and a 10' shielded
loop. The attached file is very compressed, with the e-probe
 cases on top, taken with SDR-IQ #1 and a Dell E521. 10'
shielded loop results are on the bottom, taken with SDR-IQ
#2 and a laptop. EAR results on the left; MP results are on
the right. The capture times are fairly well matched but the
sensitivity/contrast is lower by one "tick" for the 10'
loop. I'll look into adding a full-size image to the LWCA
 "Reception & Loggings" community forum.
