[Lowfer] active whips

Well, the base of my active whip is only sixteen feet above ground, but I
live in "hillbilly country" on the very tip top of a hill which is close to
1800 feet above sea level.

Also, in late 2012 I hired a man with a bulldozer and a backhoe to clear
about 3/4 of an acre of "jungle" off my property, which he did (21 dump
truck loads of "trash", and several chords of firewood).

Also, my wife (and neighbor) has given me permission to purchase a Stihl
chainsaw and finish clearing a few more trees that are within 100' of my
receive antenna.

Looking forward to that. :-)
