Hello Gentlemen: Lee has the K1EL - WinKeyer, software programmable..
It will only slow to QRSS-30.. I recommended that he send nothing
but a " T " resulting in a 90 second keydown, with a 90 second
pause, then start the sequence again.. Per his last post, he is
sending 3 - " T's " in a row followed by a 5 wpm message, a pause,
then restart the sequence.. ( IF ) this is the sequence, there will
be a 30 second space between each " T ".. If I calculate the sequence
correct; it will take 5-1/2 minutes to complete, followed by at least
a 90 second pause and the CW message.. Using QRSS-60 SLOW, the
30 second pause will almost be un-noticable, and the transmission
( should ) appear as a 5-1/2 minute carrier with a short space
between transmissions.. My thoughts on the matter anyway.. I'm still
looking nightly for his signal, and a reception that I can say
beyond doubt is the signal from " JAM " PERSONALLY... I believe I
have saw his signal almost every night right at the noise floor, and
a few times strong enough to make out a carrier at 90 second length..
The frequency I see each time is: 187016.14 KHz.. At just shy of
2000 miles distance; it certainly won't be " Welding Goggle " strength..
Just Detectable, - OR - Barely readable will be the best I can hope for..
