[Lowfer] frequency counter calibration

Look on EBAY for a decent HP frequency counter. I have three that I bought 
there  and all can be easily disiplined as they have an external 10 Mhz 
reference input. I got an old 5383A good to 520 Mhz for less than $60. I 
also have a couple  of 5316s that seem to work just fine.

On further thought,  and discussion, I very much doubt this frequency
counter's precision will be anywhere equal to my needs, even if
calibrated by the most precise standards available now.

So.....I will pursue other methods.
