** Sounds like your coax outer shield is acting as part of the antenna 
instead of being decoupled at the feedpoint with a ferrite 
sleeve/choke/current balun. Having it the way it is now is just asking for 
common mode being picked up from all over the neighborhood.
I started working with ferrites in the late 70's and got into it heavy thru 
the 80's when working with the CIA's Tempest program at work.
