Ed,

I've learned a lot about the smart meter that was installed on my home 
about 3 years ago.  There are many types but it sounds like he has the 
same type.  With all the discussion and problems hams have with smart 
meters I thought sure we could get a mail group going on the subject.  
But after nearly two years only a few have joined:

I have an audio file on the group page of what I receive.  He can listen 
to it to see if he has the same.  Or if he has or can make a recording 
of his noise it would help identify the smart meter type.
