[Lowfer] Looking for 73 kHz band modes to try...

several thoughts:

Opera is not legal to tx in the US, FCC thinks it is a spread-spectrum
mode. and yeah I too am suspicious of closed-source software,
especially that which sends internet packets with details about my PC.

My gut feeling is that propagation and impairments are different on LF
and VLF, compared to MF and HF, (duh) so WSPR might not be the best
thing down low. but something like it with different tones might really
shine.

I really enjoy seeing the QRSS traces that folks post here! I've
listened real sincerely but never hear / see anyone. I am in CM87,
Sunnyvale, CA, most of the TX activity seems to be on the right coast
and flyover states? I bought a pixeltech magloop for MF and LF
listening. It is outstanding at HF, compared to my R7 and wire dipoles.
