[Lowfer] LF last night

Although the band seemed fairly quiet, not much action seen on the lowfer freqs. MP coming in strong as usual; WD2XSH / 20 and / 7 with nice strong CW signals most of the evening, with / 7 copied in PSK31 as well. 

I monitored the lowfer watering hole as well as 185.185 to listen for SIW. Nothing seen at the watering hole overnight, and no sign of SIW. There was, however, a "staircase" signal throughout the early morning on SIW's frequency, the same signal that John had posted in the last copy of the Lowdown. Did anyone ever figure out what this is ? 

Also curious if MO has been heard yet this season ?
