Laurence,
I have a R75 on the way. First receive only radio I have had in some
time and I am looking forward to using it. One of the upgrades/mods I am
considering is disciplining it to a high stability external reference be
it a GPSDO such as the G3RUH or other design (ie VE2ZAZ design) or
perhaps even a rubidium, lots of possibilities with some very good and
tested ideas about.
Summer has been pretty good in Eastern Ontario - the crops have faired
very well this year but as we head into the second week of August it is
clear that the peak of summer has past and fall and all it's colours are
fast approaching but not yet. Perhaps fall will also bring some good MF
and LF dx'ing.
cheers, Graham ve3gtc
