I visited M.I.T. Draper Labs this week and saw that they had developed
a chip scale atomic clock with very low power consumption. From a Google
search I see that NIST also has developed a chip scale atomic clock and
Symmetricon is offering one for sale. I believe that prices are still
very high but should drop dramatically if quantity production is achieved.
