How is it that a pot which is carrying very little current would be more 
likely to go bad operating than off?  I've had more trouble with pots in 
equipment that is seldom used than ones in use.  Are the pots in the R75 
different that those in older gear?  My R75 has been on for several 
years but now I worry about having to buy a pot made of gold if it 
develops the same trouble.
