I see everyone say how easy it is and it gives me an inferiority complex... :-)

I had DIR on the air for a season and didn't get any reception reports. I spent 
a fair amount of time and tinkering trying to get the antenna to work, but 
ultimatley it just didn't seem to do the job. I still have the oscillator, 
keyer, and the transmitter. The antenna has slowly fallen to bits over time and 
I took the last of it down last spring.

These days my job keeps in out of town for extended periods so I haven't had a 
chance to give it another try. But I would like to get it back on the air at 
some point...
