I've had good luck using "cable TV grade" RG-6 with crimp-on F connectors for all of my receive antennas for the last seven years.
I bought the correct stripping and crimping tools and it takes just seconds to prep and install a connector. F to BNC adaptors are
readily available and allow for quick connect and disconnect, something you want in patch cords. Some would suggest that I've
a mis-match using 75 ohm cable rather than 52 ohm, but I've had no issues. I've even used some "cable TV" hardline on a UHF
repeater antenna feed line and the "fussy" duplexer was none the wiser.
